Alastair Flett

I’m Alastair Flett, co-owner with Jacqui of Kiwi Accounting Solutions (Kiwi As).

We launched Kiwi As at the beginning of 2019 with a passion for serving small to medium enterprises and farms. I also happen to be very good at what I do!

My career began in Otorohanga where I started at the bottom in 1987 and left in 2010 as a senior partner. Five years as a solo practitioner with six staff in Te Awamutu followed. After selling the business to Crowe Horwath, we established Kiwi As.

As a father of seven children, including two stepchildren, family is very important to me. Even though they are all in their twenties, they still keep us very busy! Jacqui and I love travel. Our New Year’s resolution is always to use the motorhome more often.

I was born and bred into farming. At the same time, I relate well to the business environment – it’s a good combination. I enjoy getting alongside people to help them identify and work towards their financial goals. For me, there is nothing like the feeling of seeing someone achieve success.
